“Let things come to you.”

Very wise.

Very peaceful.

Very cutesy.

Unfortunately, I am working on my first mystery series, so what I’m hoping comes to me is:

🔎 a motive
🗝️ a clue
📚 a better chapter ending
☕ tea
✨ and one extremely convenient plot twist

Things found near the writer’s desk:

⌨️ one typewriter
🐈 one possible witness
🔪 one highly concerning object
📝 seventeen unfinished plot notes
☕ no tea, somehow

The investigation continues. 🔎

🌿🧪🍄 poison-garden department

Acqua Tofana: part poison, part legend, and exactly the sort of historical rabbit hole that makes a cozy mystery reader immediately suspicious of the apothecary cabinet. 🧪🕯️🔎
